What do you say to yourself?

"You're not enough..."

That's what I said to myself.

Looking at myself, straight in the eye, in front of hundreds of people at a Summit, as the speaker guided me through this exercise, I admitted one of my biggest fears and limiting beliefs.

The room was silent.

My eyes wells up with tears.

My heart felt like it was going to pound right out of my chest.

You see, I've said this to myself, so many times, for so many years...

"You're not enough..."

"Not smart enough...pretty enough...tall enough...well spoken enough...influential enough...not enough time...not enough money...I didn't have what it took..."

This limiting belief has been one that has held me back from "doing the thing, creating the thing, launching the thing, saying the thing...(whatever the "thing" may have been) for so... many... years.

These three words stifled my potential and held me back from unapologetically living out my purpose, finding my voice and sharing my gifts with others.

It held me captive...kept me insecure...kept me playing small.

Until one day, I got tired of it...

Ever been there? So sick and tired of "it" that something HAS to change???

No longer being able to ignore the divine discontentment of my "sick and tiredness," I set out on a mission to change the things I was telling myself...

I've been on a spiritual journey over the past 6 years, unpacking this belief (and soooooo many others that used to hold me back and keep me feeling insecure).

And what I've learned about limiting beliefs is that once we know how to follow the emotional trail of where they started in the first place, we can reframe them and they can no longer have power over us.

Once we are aware, the only way that lack of confidence can hold us back is if we let it...

Another thing that I've learned is that it's time to pass this light onto others...

The lessons I've learned...

The coaching that I've been through...

The resources I've been able to implement into my life that has allowed me to detach from those limiting beliefs...

The very things that have empowered me to show up in the world boldly, brightly, confidently and unapologetically...

They are not for me to keep to myself anymore.

They are for every other woman who has ever heard that inner voice inside tell her that she wasn't enough...

It's for every girl who has dimmed her light in order to make others around her more comfortable.

It is for every woman who knows, deep in her heart, that she is here for a big reason and has a desire to serve others and make a difference.

If you know this is you, I want to invite you to take my hand and let me guide you through this part of the journey so that you too can be confident, share what's on your heart, step into your purpose, and live boldly, brightly and authentically.
