Gratitude is one of those things that has made a HUGE difference in my life. Being grateful not only shifts our mind onto things that matter most, but it also can help lower anxiety, help with depression, it helps people become more optimistic, it is associated with better levels of sleep, higher brain function, and all sorts of great stuff! Gratitude has definitely made a huge difference in my life. When I am in a little pitty party, one of the quickest ways to get out of it is to remind myself about all of the things I'm grateful for. My eyes so I can see, my lunge so I can breathe, my family, my warm house, running water, my fluffy kitty cat named Jack, a good pair of shoes, yoga, Jesus, good friends, toilet paper, the list can go on and on when yo really think about it!
This journal is perfect for starting that list...Another great resource that gives you a daily practice of gratitude is the book called "The Magic." This easy read has daily action items to increase gratitude in your life. I highly recommend it!
