I remember waiting and hoping and praying for a seat at a table...any table...just for even one person to say “come have a seat” because they saw the potential inside of me and wanted to give me a chance...

(And when I say table, I mean groups, stages, platforms, events, gatherings, etc)...
.
What ended up happening was instead of continuing to wait for an invitation, I began to create my own tables...
.
I began to uncover the potential inside of me for myself.
.
I began to choose myself...
.
And as my tables got built, I was the one that for to invite others to sit at my tables...
.
Want to know what has since happened?
.
I get to invite others to sit at my tables AND I get invited to sit at other’s tables, now too.
.
So the moral of the story is to quit waiting for someone else to pick you and just go for it...you’ll have a better outcome than you could have even imagined 🥂
