Permission to know that where you’re going, there isn’t room for everyone and not everyone is meant for every season…

Permission to know that you can’t please everyone and that someone will always be offended by your healing (not because of your growth, but because of the lack of theirs)…

And the boundaries in place to know that not everyone gets equal access to you, your life, your time, or knowing everything about you…not that you’re dishonest, just that you fiercely protect precious things reserved for an inner circle and not the masses…remember, people can peek through your windows but not everyone gets invited to sit on your couch and an even smaller amount of people make it to the intimacy of the bedroom…(good metaphor, right?!) 🔥
